Vitamin E
Forms & Bioavailability
Vitamin E exists as 8 different compounds: 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols. Natural d-alpha-tocopherol is more bioavailable than synthetic dl-alpha-tocopherol. Full-spectrum Vitamin E with mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols provides broader antioxidant protection than alpha-tocopherol alone. Look for "d-alpha" (natural) not "dl-alpha" (synthetic).
