Vitamin K

Forms & Benefits

Vitamin K comes in two main forms: K1 (phylloquinone) from plants, and K2 (menaquinone) from fermentation. K2, especially MK-7, has superior bioavailability and stays in your blood longer. K2 works synergistically with Vitamin D3 to direct calcium to bones (not arteries). MK-7 from natto (fermented soybeans) is the most studied and effective form.
